Insiders in the supply chain say that Huawei’s new Mate 60 series might have satellite phone-call capabilities using the Tiantong-1 satellite system. The series is likely to have special chips for this system.
However, older devices like the Mate X3 and P60 series won’t support this feature. There are also reports that the Mate 60 series and Apple’s iPhone 15 series may launch around the same time.
