Panos Panay, Microsoft’s EVP and Chief Product Officer, mentioned significant changes coming to the next generation of operating system from Redmond.
He pointed that AI is the defining technology of our time, and that it will heavily use hardware solutions to improve. He mentioned natural language models, and said that a PC’s webcam could add background blur, detect eye contact, and automatically frame someone on a conference call while using far less battery.
Windows 12 might be deeply integrated with the cloud as processing AI is very intensive. Microsoft is actively investing to OpenAI project and is working to supercharge Bing with ChatGPT, a natural language processing tool that uses AI. It can make Bing more user friendly, and polish its search results with extra relevancy.
Thus, it is evident that AI features will soon enhance Windows 11 and Windows 12, making them more user friendly, intelligent, and personal.
