Pieces of Titan Wreckage Taken Off Ship in St. John’s as Investigations Begin

Five people aboard the Titan submersible, including OceanGate Expeditions CEO Stockton Rush, are believed to have been killed by an implosion that caused the submersible to go missing off the coast of Newfoundland.

The shattered pieces of the submersible were transported to St. John’s harbor for investigation. The transportation safety boards of the US and Canada, the US Coast Guard, and RCMP are working to determine the cause of the implosion.
